Grand Finale

Beautiful Chair Mountain from the top of McClure Pass in Colorado. I went back about 6 miles in the wilderness to paint this. The late afternoon light bathed the tops of the mountain so beautifully. I painted until the sun set in order to capture this magnificent scene, stopping only to bang my brush on my easel to make noise and keep the bears away.
